–34 felony charges related to falsifying business records to conceal payments to a porn star were revealed in Trump’s NY case. However, they are the same charge presented in different ways. In addition, the indictment doesn’t define the crime which shows a serious loophole in the prosecution. It also appears that the statute of limitations has run out. And the additional mystery “second charge” that would supposedly make these felonies is still unclear. Trump pleaded not guilty and has vowed to fight it.
–Former White House adviser John Bolton said the charges against former President Donald Trump were “even weaker than I thought” during an interview on Tuesday, coming after the Manhattan District Attorney’s office charged the former commander-in-chief with 34 counts of falsifying business records, as other critics of Trump claimed the case is a “disappointment.” “Speaking as someone who very strongly does not want Donald Trump to get the Republican presidential nomination, I’m extraordinarily distressed by this document,” Bolton told CNN Tuesday. “I think this is even weaker than I feared it would be.” Bolton, a graduate of Yale Law School, said he fears the case could “easily” get dismissed before it even makes it to a jury trial.

–Rasmussen Poll Stunner: Trump Gains 10 Points on Biden Since Indictment: Since his indictment last week, a new Rasmussen poll shows former President Donald Trump has taken a strong lead over Joe Biden in the race for president. On Feb. 15, the Rasmussen poll had Biden leading Trump by 45% to 42%. But in a survey conducted April 2 and 3, immediately after the announcement of the former president’s indictment but before his arraignment Tuesday, Trump took a big lead of 47% against Biden’s 40%. Other polling released this weekend by Trump pollster John McLaughlin showed the indictment had given Trump a boost with 51% of GOP voters supporting him over Ron DeSantis at 21% — a lead of 30 points.
–Wisconsin Supreme Court Race Marred by Yet Another Voting Machine Malfunction: U.S. elections continue to be haunted by voting machine issues. “City clerk Celestine Jeffreys said the machine at the Green Bay Botanical Garden wasn’t working,” WLUK reported. “Backup machines also did not work.” “Those machines had been serviced, so we have to take a much more close look after this election as to whether or not we need to purchase new machines and exactly how we can ensure that that doesn’t happen again,” Jeffreys said. “It’s the same problem we’ve been having at that ward for a couple of different election cycles.”

–Now the Biden regime is coming for your cheap lightbulbs, preparing to implement a ban on commonly used light bulbs as part of its energy efficiency and climate agenda. The regulations prohibit retailers from selling incandescent light bulbs were finalized by the Department of Energy (DOE) in April 2022 and are slated to go into effect on Aug. 1, 2023. The DOE will begin full enforcement of the ban on that date, but it has already urged retailers to begin transitioning away from the light bulb type and, in recent months, begun issuing warning notices to companies. “The lighting industry is already embracing more energy efficient products, and this measure will accelerate progress to deliver the best products to American consumers and build a better and brighter future,” Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said last year. –The U.S. House voted overwhelmingly (413-2) on March 27 to pass legislation that would penalize persons involved in forced organ trafficking, a gruesome crime that occurs particularly in Communist China where between 60,000 and 100,000 young people are killed every year to steal their organs. These “crimes against humanity” are committed with the full knowledge and sanction of the Communist regime, according to House Rep. Chris Smith (R-N.J.) and numerous human rights activists who have studied the topic.

–Up in Canada, lawmakers are working on a bill to prosecute those who make “offensive remarks” about homosexuality, gender confusion, drag queens, and “plus,” which should cover just about every other thing. You won’t believe this:
–Finnish prosecutors are appealing a court ruling last year dismissing all “hate speech” charges against former lawmaker and government minister who believes the Bible’s view on marriage and sexuality. On 30th March 2022, the Helsinki District Court unanimously dismissed all charges against Päivi Räsänen and Bishop Juhana Pohjola, stating that “it is not for the district court to interpret biblical concepts”. Nevertheless, the prosecutor filed an appeal against the “not guilty” verdict last April. The prosecution has demanded tens of thousands of Euros in fines and continues to insist that Räsänen’s and Pohjola’s publications be censored. “By continuing its campaign to censor peaceful beliefs the prosecution is setting a dangerous precedent of intolerance against free speech. I will keep fighting for free speech because it is the cornerstone of a free and democratic society. I am hopeful the appeal court will make the same decision as the district court and acquit me again,” said Päivi Räsänen.
–Vatican Document Repudiates The “Doctrine Of Discovery” Are All Western Hemisphere Nation-States (Including The U.S.) Illegitimate? AP: The Vatican on Thursday responded to Indigenous demands and formally repudiated the “Doctrine of Discovery,” the theories backed by 15th-century “papal bulls” that legitimized the colonial-era seizure of Native lands and form the basis of some property laws today. A Vatican statement said the papal bulls, or decrees, “did not adequately reflect the equal dignity and rights of Indigenous peoples” and have never been considered expressions of the Catholic faith.
–The U.N. Could Have a Secret Legal Weapon to Fight Climate Change: An obscure 1978 treaty may grant the ICJ jurisdiction over the world’s largest emitters. The U.N. resolution asks the ICJ, sometimes called the World Court, to issue an advisory opinion on states’ obligations “in respect of climate change.” Unlike the International Criminal Court, which investigates alleged crimes by individuals, the ICJ is a civil tribunal that adjudicates disputes between countries. It is the primary judicial agency mentioned in the U.N. founding charter.
–Man ends his life after an AI chatbot ‘encouraged’ him to sacrifice himself to stop climate change: A Belgian man reportedly ended his life following a six-week-long conversation about the climate crisis with an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot. According to his widow, who chose to remain anonymous, *Pierre – not the man’s real name – became extremely eco-anxious when he found refuge in Eliza, an AI chatbot on an app called Chai. Eliza consequently encouraged him to put an end to his life after he proposed sacrificing himself to save the planet. “Without these conversations with the chatbot, my husband would still be here,” the man’s widow told Belgian news outlet La Libre.

Expressly prohibiting the use of a federally adopted Central Bank Digital Currency as money within Florida’s Uniform Commercial Code (UCC). Instituting protections against a central global currency by prohibiting any CBDC issued by a foreign reserve or foreign sanctioned central bank. Calling on like minded states to join Florida in adopting similar prohibitions within their respective Commercial Codes to fight back against this concept nationwide. “The Biden administration’s efforts to inject a Centralized Bank Digital Currency is about surveillance and control,” said Governor Ron DeSantis. “Today’s announcement will protect Florida consumers and businesses from the reckless adoption of a ‘centralized digital dollar’ which will stifle innovation and promote government-sanctioned surveillance. Florida will not side with economic central planners; we will not adopt policies that threaten personal economic freedom and security.”
