Foundations to Endure a Storm
Our Lord warned of the danger of building one’s life on the sand. We need to build our lives upon the solid rock of the unchangeable Word of Almighty God. When the rain falls, the floods rise, the winds blow and the storm rages, the house built upon the rock will stand. However, those built on the sand will collapse (Matthew 7:24-27).
Biblical Illiteracy is Having Devastating Consequences
Surveys indicate that amongst young people aged 16 to 25, less than 10% of church-goers have a Biblical Worldview. Over 75% view socialism as the best economic system. Over 60% feel that if what you believe offends someone, or hurts their feelings, then it is wrong! Tolerance of what the Bible describes as perversion is rising amongst young adults, while intolerance for Biblical standards for marriage, the family and society, is steadily increasing. The Word of God warns us “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…” Romans 12:2
Failing to See the Big Picture
Most Christians tend to see the world “in bits and pieces” instead of the whole picture. Too many church-goers feel like Christians but think like humanists. All too many seem to have Christian hearts, but humanist minds. “Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world and not according to Christ.” Colossians 2:8
33 Years Biblical Worldview Summits
That is why, for 33 years, Frontline Fellowship has been organising Biblical Worldview Summits to encourage, equip and empower Bible-believing Christians to understand the times and to know what God’s people should do (1 Chronicles 12:32).
