Alex Jones’ InfoWars Goes Dark After Years of Lawfare

After over 30 years on air, Alex Jones’ legendary InfoWars channel shut down last night. Upon visiting Infowars.com or their video outfit, banned.video this morning, readers and viewers were presented with a white screen that simply reads “Off Air.”

Jones closed out a marathon broadcast last night with resolve and defiance, saying, “All glory goes to Jesus Christ, our Heavenly Father.”

“We are committed, and if God stands with us, who can stand against us?” he added.

The shutdown comes after years of lawfare against Jones for simply discussing the Sandy Hook shooting and offering his analysis.

The Onion, a left-wing satire site, is expected to take over InfoWars’ intellectual property and use it as a tool to push anti-God, anti-liberty messaging. The takeover will not be easy, however, as the Texas Third Court of Appeals granted an emergency request by Jones’ lawyers, temporarily stopping the transfer of any assets. This month a court will revisit the case and determine next steps.

For now, Jones is continuing his crusade in the information war through the newly branded Alex Jones Show, accompanied by a new app.
