In a massive blow to globalists and international organizations like the United Nations (UN), Donald Trump issued a presidential memorandum withdrawing the United States from 66 anti-American treaties, conventions, and organizations.
“These withdrawals will end American taxpayer funding and involvement in entities that advance globalist agendas over U.S. priorities,” the White House said in a release. “Many of these bodies promote radical climate policies, global governance, and ideological programs that conflict with U.S. sovereignty and economic strength.”
The move comes after Trump signed an order in February of 2025 ordering Secretary of State Marco Rubio and U.S. Representative to the United Nations Mike Waltz to review all international intergovernmental organizations, conventions, and treaties that the U.S. is participating in to determine if they align with American interests.
The result was a sweeping withdrawal from entities such as the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, UN Population Fund, UN Conference on Trade and Development, UN Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women, the UN Democracy Fund, and many more. You can see the full list here.

Trump revealed that the laundry list of withdrawals was not the end but just a start. “My review of further findings of the Secretary of State remains ongoing,” the order stated.
Other significant organizations that Trump pulled the plug on include the UN’s education fund, Education Cannot Wait, the pro-mass migration Global Forum on Migration and Development, and the Science and Technology Center in Ukraine.
Ultimately, another president can simply place the U.S. back into these outfits, as Joe Biden did when President Trump withdrew from the UN Paris Climate Accord, the World Health Organization, and UNESCO, the UN’s education propaganda arm, during his first term.
While Trump’s actions are a tremendous start, if Americans are serious about stopping “hostile” and “globalist” agendas, they must contact their member of Congress and tell them to support the DEFUND Act, which would fully and permanently withdraw the U.S. from the United Nations.
Nothing short of full divorce from the UN will suffice.
