On October 7th, Hamas struck Israel with a deadly attack. Earlier today, Israel’s defense minister told ground troops at the border that they are to get organized and be ready with orders to advance. Tens of thousands of troops amassed at the Gaza border would seem to indicate that a new chapter in the war is about to be written.
Is there more to this conflict than we’re led to believe? What is the “big picture” to all that’s going on?
To answer those questions, Jim had Alex Newman return to Crosstalk. Alex is an award-winning international freelance journalist, author, researcher, educator and consultant. In order to understand what’s taking place you need to know history and part of that is recognizing Islamic theology. Since the time of Mohammed, Islamic armies have been beheading Christians and Jews. North Africa was Christian and Muslims went through that area and killed those who refused to convert to Islam. From there, they went into the Iberian Peninsula and tried to take over Europe but were stopped by Charles “The Hammer” Martel at the Battle of Tours. They also tried to go through Vienna but were stopped multiple times, so what we’re seeing today is not a new phenomenon.
Alex also called attention to why the Biden administration continues to send billions of dollars to the Arab governments who are sponsors of such terrorism, such as Iran. Our money is also going to U.N. agencies that are indoctrinating young Arab children to think of Jews as pigs, monkeys and occupiers who need to be driven into the sea.
There’s serious talk of bringing a million Arabs from Gaza here to the U.S. While Alex described many as good, decent people, with some even being Christian, when you have a number that large, he believes you can almost guarantee that many of them will wage jihad against Christians and Jews here in the U.S.
Added to all this is the fact that the U.S. government has more debt than any entity in the history of the world. Alex noted that when we’re literally borrowing money from Beijing in order to pay money to Hamas, you have to wonder just what’s going on in Washington, D.C.
Alex explained how what’s currently taking place is a domestic manifestation of a global phenomenon known as the “Red-Green Axis.” It’s an alliance of communists and Islamists. On the surface they don’t appear to have much in common. However, they do have common enemies which includes Christ, Christians, the Church and Jews. Viewed from this perspective, you can then see how Ilhan Omar (an Islamist) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (a Marxist) can work together as part of “The Squad.”
Alex referenced Rich Higgins, the Director of Policy and Planning at the National Security Council under Donald Trump. In his “Higgins Memos” he described how this global alliance is Marxist, socialist, communist, Islamist and globalist and they’re all united on one point: The destruction of the United States as both a nation and as an ideal, and by extension, the destruction of Israel as well.
