At the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, The New American magazine’s senior editor, Alex Newman, sits down to talk with Paul Moore, a candidate for County Sheriff of Clackamas County, Oregon.
Moore, a United States Marine, deputy sheriff, Oregon State trooper, and executive of a fortune 200 country, is seeking to become a sheriff who views the constitution as the “foundation of public safety,” Moore explained, rather than “ceremonial window dressing,” as many sheriffs do.
