Part of the problem is that the nation has chosen the gods of narcissism and nihilism, he warned. Symptoms of the madness are everywhere as, for instance, polling data show millennials want “misgendering” to be a criminal offense. But McFarland believes that, with God’s help, America can be preserved and restored. He has a lot of advice for Americans and for Christians, including “be encouraged.” This is a time of opportunity, he said.
